Our Director

Tony Davis: Tony has over 25 years of management consulting experience in the US and Europe and founded Maddox Consulting in 2001.
He has worked at a senior level with many international transport operating groups (surface, aviation and maritime), advised financial institutions investing in the sector and assisted numerous national government entities.
Tony’s focus is on strategy, upside value creation and bridging implementation.  He has undertaken professional assignments in over 40 countries.  He has an MBA from M.I.T..

Our Senior Managers

Joanne Lloyd-Evans: Joanne joined Maddox in 2009 following six years with L.E.K. Consulting. She has a broad experience in corporate strategy development, transformation management, business case development and commercial due diligence. Joanne has worked across a range of sectors, and has developed a particular specialism in helping companies understand the commercial implications of climate change and develop commercial environmental strategies. She has strong skills in financial modelling, data analysis and project management, and conducting senior interview and workshop programmes. Joanne has a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering (Hons) from the University of Melbourne.

Mike Glossop, has c. 12 years of experience in rail and transport.  Early in his career, he spent about 8 years at Steer Davies Gleave and then worked as a senior manager for National Express in a new business unit.  His rail sector work includes: projects for Abellio, Keolis, RENFE, Lehman Brothers and Hellman & Friedman private equity; revenue enhancement models for both Virgin West Coast and Cross Country; leading a team to vertically integrate the infrastructure and operations of two rail companies; and project managed the development of a £600m tram network under a PPP.  Mike is a highly adept financial and business modeller on both the cost and revenue sides and for the valuation of companies, having applied these skills in consulting, private equity and hedge funds. He is a strong writer, highly adept at RADAR, and very professional, diligent and well organised.  Mike is just completing support to a West Coast rail bid, where he has provided quality assurance and substantive input and re-drafting for about half of the 10 Plans.  Mike has an MBA from the London Business School and a first class honours degree from the Ecole de Management de Normandie.
