Our Directors
Tony Davis: Tony has over 25 years of management consulting experience in the US and Europe and founded Maddox Consulting in 2001.
He has worked at a senior level with many international transport operating groups (surface, aviation and maritime), advised financial institutions investing in the sector and assisted numerous national government entities.
Tony’s focus is on strategy, upside value creation and bridging implementation. He has undertaken professional assignments in over 40 countries. He has an MBA from M.I.T..

Rebecca McPhee: has over 10 years of consulting experience and specialises in commercial due diligence and transaction support for both M&A and franchises/concessions. She also has extensive experience in solving complex strategic issues for companies, and assisting with turnaround plans. She has an excellent track record in developing winning rail franchise bids and in programme management related to transactions and business transformation. She joined Maddox a year after it was founded, previously worked at L.E.K. Consulting, and has a BA (hons) in Economics and graduate degree in Management Studies from the University of Cambridge.

Augusto Viansson Ponte: Augusto has 12 years’ experience in strategy consultancy and investment banking. He has led assignments in Europe, North America and the Middle-East in a broad range of sectors, with a focus in recent years on aviation. During his career he has worked for clients such as Aeroporti di Roma, Brussels Airlines, Caribbean Airlines and Trenitalia. Prior to joining Maddox, Augusto was managing director of Big Air, an independent private aviation company providing charter brokerage and aircraft brokerage services. Augusto has a BA (Hons) in International Business Studies from the European Business School in London and is fluent in Italian, English and German.
Our Senior Managers
Joanne Lloyd-Evans: Joanne joined Maddox in 2009 following six years with L.E.K. Consulting. She has a broad experience in corporate strategy development, transformation management, business case development and commercial due diligence. Joanne has worked across a range of sectors, and has developed a particular specialism in helping companies understand the commercial implications of climate change and develop commercial environmental strategies. She has strong skills in financial modelling, data analysis and project management, and conducting senior interview and workshop programmes. Joanne has a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering (Hons) from the University of Melbourne.
